IJOYMOTO Warranty & Replacement Policy
- Return Policy (15-Day Window)
At IJOYMOTO, we believe in the quality of our products and want you to shop with confidence.
Returns Within 14 Days of Receipt
We allow you to return any item in new and unused condition within 14 days of receipt for a full refund with no restocking fee, less return shipping charges. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless we made a shipping error. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Returns After 14 Days (Up to 15 Days)
Items returned in new and unused condition after the 14-day window are subject to return shipping charges and a 20% restocking fee.
Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We cannot guarantee receipt of items you attempt to return.
Refused Shipments
If you refuse delivery of a shipped order, a flat fee of $250 per e-bike will be deducted from your refund to partially cover shipping costs. Please notify us of any refusal to avoid delays in processing your refund.
Battery Returns
Due to carrier restrictions on high-capacity lithium-ion batteries, battery purchases are non-returnable.
- 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty
All IJOYMOTO e-bikes are covered under a 1-year all-inclusive manufacturer's warranty for the original owner against manufacturing defects. Free accessories are not covered under warranty.
The warranty period begins from the date the original owner receives the product.
Warranty Claims
All warranty claims must be submitted to support@ijoymoto.com with proof of purchase and photos or videos of the defective product. Valid claims will be processed within 1 year of the original purchase date. IJOYMOTO cannot replace any part without first reviewing photo or video evidence.
Shipping Damage Claims
If your item arrives damaged, contact support@ijoymoto.com with photos or videos of the damage. Shipping damage claims must be submitted within 7 days of receipt. Free accessories are not included in shipping damage compensation.
Frame Warranty
Frames are covered by a 1-year replacement warranty (replacement frame only; labor not included). The following are excluded:
Corrosion Paint fade, scratches, or impact marks Impact damage Non-reversible modifications (drilling, welding) Battery Warranty
Batteries are covered by a 1-year prorated warranty:
Within 1 year: Defective batteries will be repaired or replaced at no cost. After 1 year: A prorated credit based on months of service will be applied toward a new battery purchase.
No cash reimbursement will be made. Batteries must be assessed directly by IJOYMOTO.
Parts & Components Warranty
Original IJOYMOTO parts and components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on warranty parts.
The following are not covered by the parts warranty:
Normal wear and tear: brake pads, rotors, spokes, tires/tubes, chains, chain rings, cassettes, cranksets Corrosion or surface finish deterioration Damage from accident, abuse, misuse, or abnormal use (e.g., stunt riding, racing) Damage from improper assembly, maintenance, or use of non-approved accessories Products with removed or altered serial numbers Products used or purchased outside the United States
- General Warranty Exclusions
The following are not covered under any IJOYMOTO warranty:
Damage from accidents, abuse, misuse, or abnormal use Improper storage or exposure to liquids, chemicals, or abrasives Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) not caused by IJOYMOTO Damage from external causes: fire, flooding, lightning, theft, or improper electrical use Use of non-approved batteries or accessories Products with tampered or removed serial numbers Products used or purchased outside the United States
- Special Cases Second-Hand IJOYMOTO Bikes
Warranty may transfer to a second owner only if:
The original 1-year warranty period has not expired. You have the original owner's name and order number. Stolen Bikes
Stolen bikes are not covered under warranty. We recommend investing in a quality lock to protect your bike.
Age Requirement
E-bikes are not for sale to persons under the age of 18. Underage riders must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times.
